Foot pegs?
I have been thinking about putting foot pegs on the scooter, but haven't figured out how to do it. Cappuni has a set of universal foot pegs for vintage Vespa scooters. The pegs are mounted up off of the floor board, so it appears that with your knees up, you could sit back on the seat. I would post a link but I don't know how. Any other ideas?

Re: Foot pegs?
Keep in mind that sitting all the way back on the seat can do bad things to the steering, the SH is prone to weaving and wobbling and the more you shift the weight to the back the lighter the frontwheel becomes and the worse steering becomes.Scootin2 wrote: The pegs are mounted up off of the floor board, so it appears that with your knees up, you could sit back on the seat.
Failure is not an option, it comes bundled with the package.

Re: Foot pegs?
I personally don't want to add anything that decreases leg/foot room. I'm 5'11" with most of my height in my legs and sometimes feel cramped on my SH. I agree with robber57 about the instability when sitting farther back as I will sometimes scoot back onto the passenger area when I want to do some hardcore tucking. Bike gets a little nervous. Makes me want to make 2 mods. Some reshaping of the seat to extend the drivers area. And some new rear shocks that lower the bike, maybe 2-4in. To the OP, a sincere question. What will the benefits of the foot pegs be for you? I can see that they would add some style/character to your SH as I usually only see them on Vespa/vintage scooters, and I'm all about making your scoot your own!
