Euro Turn Signals
Has anyone in North America installed the Euro signals in the body front where the grey plastic pieces are? I'm looking at the parts on hondaoriginalparts.com and they're less expensive then I had thought they were. It's about $125 US for everything including shipping, except 6 self tapping screws. For some reason when I add these screws, which are $0.96 each, the total jumps to $180. Seems to be some sort of fluke with the item/shopping cart. I am not positive they'll work with my SH because it is a European web site and it doesn't allow you to look by US VIN's. Anybody done any research on obtaining these signals?

Here's a link to buy Euro signal parts. You should be able to buy the light sockets and bulbs from them...

Re: Euro Turn Signals
I think these would compliment the Euro signals nicely...

Re: Euro Turn Signals
Hi bikeguy,
Yes, I have just installed euro turn signals in my SH150i, and yes, I live in USA.
Besides the turn signals I, also, installed the GIVI windshield.
Here are some pix of my work!
I left the original turn signals as well. They are required by DOT.

Re: Euro Turn Signals
I love the Euro signals! The original turn signals look goofy with the the new Euro signals. I think I would omit the DOT signals, and take a chance that the DOT police wouldn't carry me off to the DMV prison!

Re: Euro Turn Signals
Although none of this is my problem i think yuriy may have a point.
What happens if you're in a accident with a pedestrian who claims not to have seen you indicate direction and your bike is confiscated for technical research?
I dont want to suggest you should keep the original, i also would probably ditch them but it is always a good idea to keep the real reason for these regulations in mind, they are not intended to give tickets or make your live miserable, and so if you circumvent some rule/regulation it is always better not to focus on the ticket you may receive when stopped by a officer but rather think over the consequences in terms of liability when something bad happens.
You are after all located in a "ill sue you for a billion $" country.

Failure is not an option, it comes bundled with the package.

Re: Euro Turn Signals
Hey Robber! I get what your saying, but I guarantee that you will be sued regardless of whether you have DOT approved signals or not. A pedestrian can claim not to have seen you regardless of your choice of signals. I have a Vespa that has a similar turn signal configuration as the Euro signals, and it's DOT approved. If I get the Euro signals, I would buy a set of turn signal mirrors, or LED lights to put on the front fender. You can be safe, without having those weird DOT signals. Just my opinion...
