Rear trunk lights and installation question

Post by mookman18 » Thu Dec 29, 2011 8:34 pm

Hi,

I own a new (to me) sh150i, and plan on gettinng the Honda rear trunk online. My question may be pretty stupid but from the photos it looks like it has lights built into the trunk. Is it difficult to connect those lights so they work with the scooter's lights and do those trunks come with installation instructions. I would hate to order one and find out there is not built in light in them. Thank you so much.

The Honda trunks don't have lights. They are simply reflectors. Sorry...

Buzzetti side stand
Ixil license plate holder
Flash to Pass
Back Off brake modulator
Euro signals
Phillips MotoVision headlight bulb
12 volt socket
Yoshimura stainless exhaust

Thank you Scootin2. Are there any that do come with lights? Not only brake lights?

Thanks

Hi there,
I am looking for rear trunk with lights too. I know they do exist. Here is a proof:

Go to toward the end of the clip, like 59 sec or so.

If you will find one, please, please let me know as well. Your help is appreciated.

I looked at my top box today, and noticed that the reflector cover can be unscrewed from inside. It would be pretty easy to put LED lights in the open space. Then run a wire to the brake line. Just a thought...

LEDs in this topcase from youtube are done by owner. It is not OEM.

Brake light in Givi topcase sucks - leds are not bright
