How do you clean your SH?

I just bought a cleaning kit for my SH, But before I start waxing away, I thought it would be nice maybe to get tips from the "old" pros of the SHcooter forum 
In my case: the older the pro gets the less cosmetic cleaning gets done.
Sad, but so. I see some of the members photos of their rides and feel a spark of envy.
None-the-less I am happy always knowing that the oil is clean and the mechanical's have been given loving attention.
