Michelin City Grips
Need to update my tires in the Spring. I found the rear Michelin City Grip 120/80 16 but in the US I just found 90/80 16 and 110/80 16 for the front. So it would be one size difference either way. Any suggestions?

I use and would prefer the 110/80-16 for the front. If you were to "bone-up" (do homework) on the mystery's of tire "lingo", I think you would think the same.
I bought mine at the link below (free shipping). I encourage you to shop around.....

Your in for a treat! Keep in mind that the front tire tread is mounted opposite of normal ( / \ vs. \ / )and the rear is "normal" and there is no little yellow paint dot to line up with the air valve on the rim, as with loppy Dunlops.
Great price too. I am going to be replacing the Dunlops on my summer SH early (6,000 miles). I am not comfortable anymore at highway speeds knowing that the tires look like a three year old's attempt at drawing a freehand circle.....

Re: Michelin City Grips
I love CityGrips. My rear was there for 14000km (8700miles) and front is on for 17000km (10560miles) and still have some 2.5mm... After Citygrip I tried Dunlop Scootsmart, this tyre I have on rear and it has now 5000km (3100miles) and has 1.5-2.0mm, so bad wear..
Compared to each other, the grip on road is similar, so City grips are excellent choice for me...

I guess it's time for me to try the City Grip as well, since my rear stock Dunlap is starting to resemble a slick at only 5,100 miles (to say the least, I was hoping for a few thousand more miles from the tire), here is hoping for a much longer tire life with the Michelin.

Re: Michelin City Grips
Just ordered a City-Grip replacement rear after 4,000 miles, loads of tread left on the sides, but Im on the wear markers on the centre tread which in winter isnt ideal as it squirrels over damp white lines. No complaints with the OEM Dunlops, but Im taking the weight of opinion from this board that City Grips seem to be a great tyre.
Front not due yet, and whilst I realise this isn't ideal having a mix, I'll live with it until the front is due. If it feels weird once its on I'll just change the front early. Im hoping a rear tyre change will get the bike back to its normal stability, as the bars oscillate like mad the minute you take your hands off the bars (the threads on here have confirmed 'they all do that' once tyres are worn).

Re: Michelin City Grips
I'm looking forward to putting my new City-grips this spring. Like your scoot my back tire is more worn then the front. What concerns me is the original tires have like these fine cracks in the rubber like they dried out. I think i'll just replace both at the same time. The best kind of insurance you can purchace for your two wheel vehicle is tires.

I just got mine at the same place TommyXP did for $134.90 shipped. Is there a thread for scooter babies who don't know how to change tires somewhere on here? This will be my first attempt.
