Replacing the Coolant on a sh150 2014 model

Post by gigglefeet » Sun Jun 18, 2017 10:11 am

I was just wondering if anyone knows how much coolant the side mounted radiator takes, I flushed it out plus the reservoir and it was only a measly 350ml, can that be?

I could only find a 2010 model coolant change video and that has the front mounted one. That one also had a bleeder bolt and I was wondering if mine has one too?

kind regards,

I am assuming your talking about a 2015, and I do not know; BUT, considering the 2010 holds 1 liter between the engine and radiator (.95ltr) and the reserve tank (.4ltr), I would be confident to find a bleed screw atop the engine on the neck of the fitting that leads to the radiator, considering similar engine size and thus capacity......
Wise move of you to measure/notice how much was drained.
Best of luck and day........

I too have a 2014 SH150 with the side radiator and will soon do a coolant change - did you manage to find a bleed point and successfully get more than 350 mls into the system?

Don't know whether this might help, but, I viewed this video without understanding a word said and it might be of some help.....Don't bother to turn on the CC - closed captioning; as it only makes it worse......
