Another annual service

Post by rainbowwalker » Fri Mar 09, 2018 7:17 am

The oil changes are so simple on this bike, even given my complete lack of spannering skills.

It's a 5 year old Honda SH125i that I use for year round commuting which I have owned from new and only started using it for full time commuting last year, currently just over 9000 miles on it.

I put the bike in a front wheel stand so I dont need the centre stand down, and just need a 17mm socket and a socket for the spark plug.

Oil, O'ring and spark plug cost £20, no air filter needed this time.

For someone like me who isn't blessed with spannering skills, its a minor sense of achievement to get it done without cocking anything up :D

I feel as you do too.
I also continue to be amazed at the dependability of the SH - year after year after year......
Freedom is not something you are given. Its something you take.
