Hi,

I am new to the forum and I have a SH300 from 2017.
When starting from stop there are sometimes a slight slip and vibrations/jerkiness up to 10-20 km/h.
Seems to be worst when the engine is cold.

Is is due to wrong/low transmission oil level?
Do I need service the belt drive/variator?

The mileage on my scooter is 6800 km.

/Hakan

Sorry for he delay. We have a new system in place and I am not familiar with it totally. I didn't notice your post.
Welcome to the Forum Haakan.
There isn't any fluids within the belt-case/transmission. Remove the cover and hopefully you have the Factory Service Manual. Check and clean the rollers but the most likely candidate IMHO will be in the back 'clutch housing' and maybe you can get away with just blowing it out (don't breathe the air) with compressed air. This would be the place to start and see what happens.

It sounds like the clutch engaging. It is common on the Burgman 400 that the clutch will slip at slow rpms while engaging to the point of glazing the clutch pads. At that point people go in the clutch housing and with fine sand paper sand the clutch pad surface to remove the glaze.

Try engaging at a higher rpm to see if it goes away. It might be common on the SH300 but I do not own one.
