Thinking of buying a sh125 2015 model

Post by Lanerboy » Thu Jan 09, 2020 11:38 am

Hi All
We are thinking of buying a 2015 SH125, we want to use it when we go away in our motorhome so will be 2 up most the time carrying 2 of us at 190kg. We will only do about 1500 miles a year on it just going into towns Etc from the campsites.
My question is will the SH125i be up to the job im not bothered about speed and will be avoiding main roads where possible and sticking to back roads
Thanks
LB

IMHO it is the best bike for the purpose you intend. Lightweight, 16" wheels and extremely dependable.
I prefer the 'back-roads' too but, when necessary this will COMFORTABLY handle the highways too, with a top-end of 70mph. Ideal vehicle to greatly expand your range when camping.
Freedom is not something you are given. Its something you take.

Thanks for the reply Tommy my main concern is we will be too heavy for it at 190kg when both on it.
Then again you do see about 4 people on them in Asia

Tough choice/chance with limited options. Only one way to find out.
