I bought a used 2010 sh150i about 4 years ago. It only had about 200 miles on it. I now have 3700 miles on it and on the drive home from work today it felt a little squirrelly and on closer inspection found the rear tire low on air. I filled it up again and it is losing air. I Read that you don’t repair motorcycle tires, they have to be replaced when there is a leak. Obviously this is the original rear tire so I have no experience buying a replacement. I will probably take the wheel off myself and take it to a shop since there are none where I live.
Question is, what replacement tire should I get. Most riding is in town, 25mph zones, sometimes 45. I prefer comfort over cornering performance.
Thanks in advance.

On a related note. The front tire looks good, but is 10 years old. Should that be replaced as a matter of course or is it OK as long as it is not dry rotted.

I'd replace both. Michelin City Grips seem to be the most used.
