Hello from Ohio

Post by strkngfang » Sun Aug 01, 2010 9:45 am

Hi everyone,

I am a 9 day owner of a new 2010 SH150i and I'm loving it. My wife also rides, we also have the little sister Elite 110, which I rode for the past year until we got the new scoot.
We are members of scootercincinnati and take a lot of group rides and have a lot of fun.
Great to see a site for SH lovers!!

Welcome. Curious as to how much you paid for the bike. I bought mine in July of '09 and paid $4,499. Dealers here in the Chattanooga area have them for $3800 now.

Cheers

3,899 would be a heck of a price. I paid 4,249 + tax and also had the top case included. I bought from the same salesman that I got the Elite from so he treated me right. When I bought the Elite new in Nov 2009 they were selling for 2,999 and they have dropped to 2,499. The Ohio dealers are still selling the SH for 4,499. I think they will long outlast the competition though...

Sounds like you did pretty well. I was itching for a Zuma 125 last year, but the Yamaha people refused to approve the financing even with $1000 down on a $2,900 scooter. Took that same $1000 to the Honda dealership and they delivered my SH the next morning. In hindsight, I don't think the Zuma compares to the SH. Glad I wound up with the Honda!

Sounds like fate. We looked at a SYM RV 250 which is a really nice bike but arrived at the dealer 5 minutes late, they had just sold their last one. It was between that and the SH. That dealer was over an hour away from me so service & parts would have been a nightmare. Besides getting a great deal, the Honda dealer is 15 min away. I think I made the better choice as well 8-)

Hope you enjoy a new ride. But My problem is that there are so many dealers and all dealers have different Rate so I am asking to you. Curious as to how much you paid for the bike?
