Hello everyone from the San Francisco Bay area,

I've been riding for 49 years, and have been without a scoot for about 9 months. My previous one was a Yamaha XC125 that I put 13K miles on over about 7 years. It was getting unreliable.

I ought to get my very slightly used (44mi!) 2010 by the end of the week. Can't wait to see how she scoots.

Welcome to the Forum Larry.
I believe you are in for a pleasant experience and you made a great find and buy and look forward to hearing of your opinion as to the noticeable difference you are about to sense.
Seems to me that 13k on the SH is just the break-in point and have ~16k with 100% reliability on one SH and ~9k on another.

Yamaha XC125 was a great scooter. They are just about worn out at 25K.

First ride on the SH was troublesome... heavy steering & poor balance. Then I thought to check the tire pressure. Sure enough i was riding on about 8lb front and rear.

Much improved after putting 25 front & 30 rear. Also figured out the counter intuitive OEM top box latch, checked the coolant level, and tender'd the battery.

I'm all ready to ride... but its drizzling this am :(
