New scooter rider.

Post by sw0865 » Tue Apr 05, 2016 6:38 am

Hi, I just bought a used 2011 sh150i yesterday with 15000 km on it. I'm from a dirt bike past. I fell for big wheel scooters after renting both a Honda vario and Yamaha nouvo in Asia last year. Neither of these are sold in Australia and the sH150i seemed to be the pick off what I could buy here second hand (bit scarred to buy a euro first time around). I rode mine about 100km's from where I picked it up. It rode sweet as on the highway, cruised easily around 90 kph so I'm pretty happy so far. I wish Honda kept the glove box from the older models though. I'm keen to do my own service work so hopefully I can learn a lot from SHcooter. Cheers, Stuart

Welcome to the Forum Stu-art......
Congratulations on finding an SH and bringing her home.
IMHO 15000-km is barely broken-in.
Strongly recommend that you obtain the "Factory Service Manual" in order to make the infrequent service work even more pleasurable.......
Enjoy!
