THis could be on the SH or any other scooter or motorcycle? I'm still a little timid so I've only gone 57mph on both the Elite and the SH.

I had my new (at the time) 1986 Yamaha Fazer up to 140mph but that was when I was young and didn't always make the wisest decisions. With the scooter, about 70mph.

Can I ask where you were doing 140mph? I'm glad you're older and wiser. Our area has lost two young 20 yr olds recently, on sportbikes exceeding 100mph, hitting a car in the rear, catching fire and you can guess the rest, of course no helmet etc. Too many "young guns" die needlessly on crotch rockets.

Only about 55. That's the speed limit where I've ridden. I haven't had the nerve to go on the freeway, even though the SH150 is freeway legal in CA.

A nearby bypass was our testing ground. You have to remember when I was a kid there was only 25% of the traffic around here compared to now. It was a completely different time. Even as a kid, I always wore a helmet. Yes it's true with age comes wisdom. My wife tells me I drive too slow now. Go figure...
