So does anybody have any info if the SH will still be around in 2011 for the US??
Or was the sales so bad that Honda decided to stop the SH for the states?

Re: No 2011 model for US?
My guess is there will be no 2011 model since the 2009 model was actually only sold in Italy and i believe Spain.
The rest of the world got the 2008 model or a "in between mix" of 2008 and 2009 like in usa/canada and it was sold as the 2010 model.
Also; usually at Honda a model will "last" 2 years before introduction of a new model
The 2009 model can be recognized by the black 3 piston Nissin frontbrake caliper and not see easy to see; a 240 mm front and rear disc in stead of the 220 mm disc which is on the 2008 model.
Its probably a typical case of a sales department pushing on while the production unit still has tons of parts to build the old model but also local legislation may be the culprit.
Getting a bike approved can be a lengthy (and costly)business and maybe at the time honda got the 2008 model approved for usa/canada the 2009( actualy named as the 2010 model) model was already in production.
If you want to keep up with latest development you have to check the honda.it (Italian) site.
At this point model "D9" is the latest.

Failure is not an option, it comes bundled with the package.
