Wondering if anyone has a Givi windshield with the A315A mounting brackets. While I am not happy with the mounting of my Slipstreamer windshield, I like the windshield itself. I am wondering about the mounting dimensions between the mounting points on the Givi windshield to see if I might be able to use my windshield with the Givi brackets.
Hopefully someone out there would be willing to help me with the dimensions.

Re: Givi A315A windshield mounting bracket
No help here.....Last week, I was looking at the mounting brackets on the 'slip-streams' and trying to figure out how one could make that work on an SH in the most rigid manner.....Maybe Honda 'brackets-only" might be available?
The screen is so essential that I wouldn't be reluctant to drill new holes to match a more solid support, which is easy enough with right 'type' of drill.
If needed, I have an extra set of 'mills' (somewhere!) you can have to do the task. They are small circular 'mills' that start-off at about ¼" and work their way up to ¾". All that is needed is the smallest pilot-hole and again that is with a drill made especially for plastic. Even the dimple from a center-punch would work but you have to exercise extreme caution the mill doesn't "walk" away on you; as I can feel the sensation now with the horrifying results!
I've always used these in a variety of plastics and metals with success after experiencing the results of trying to use 'drills'; even if one attempts to 'work' their way UP to the desired size.
Gotta make this happen soon.......

The drilling new holes was what I was considering, but I wanted to check the hole spacing first with the Givi brackets as I know I can buy just those. Don't know how they compare to the Honda brackets. Do have a post in the Buy-Sell-Trade section, will add a note about brackets only.
Drilling holes should not be a problem for me.

If you had asked about the GIVI hole placement I would have run out and got them
but unfortunately I don't have a scooter anymore. Damn.

Yes, I saw your post about your loss. Really hope it is only a temporary situation.

I can tell you, as a retired fabricator, that the Givi Mtg kit fit
very nice. A little care is needed because instructions are a
little vague/fuzzy. Easy to drop nuts-bolts-washers into the
front fairing. Bitch to fish them out. All in all 9.5/10 rating.
OK. I really hate to depend on a mere bicycle.
Good luck.

Re: Givi A315A windshield mounting bracket
I have ordered the Givi mounting brackets and will try them out with my Slipstreamer windshield when I get the brackets. I will add another post and maybe a picture after I get the brackets.
