Re: Harbor Freight Motorcycle lift
Always a pleasant thought.....(got a pic?)
Surely would be nice to bask in such luxury and the thought crosses my weary mind every-time the more often now that I struggle against immense GRAVITY to raise these old and oft broken Lazy Bones back to a semi perpendicular attitude in order to constantly fetch another simple tool and avoid the temptation to use the delicately kept 6" 'digital' calipers as a hammer because they be close-at-hand.....
If only for me it had another constant use for the 99.99% of the Time I'd have to live with the darn thing whilst the SH's so constantly purr away seemingly onto Eternity;;; I'd have one.
If you get one be sure to share the experience and sing its hosannah's and maybe I too will 'bite'...Till then I'll be masturbating the ol' imagination over how to toss a rope over a cloud and hoist The Precious to a more comfortable and workable height......

Go for it Mikey. A limit of 5 you say? You'll need a couple more bikes.
Here's what's available from
Princess Auto (Canada's ver. of Harbor Freight)
https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/ ... -p8668071e
https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/ ... -p8667818e
All in all it's a great price-probably includes shipping.
It'll be nice to roll around on a comfy office chair with a tool tray on one side and a beer (coffee) in a
cup holder.
Is this the one? https://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb-s ... 69904.html
I looked at the specs and for starters it weigh's 272 lbs. Having worked in the steel and
metals business all my life I know I'd have a hard time buying raw steel for much less than a
$1.00 a lb.

Re: Harbor Freight Motorcycle lift
Yes, that's the one. I can pick up the Harbor Freight lift at the store near me. I watched some YouTube videos on the Harbor Freight lift. They mention the front wheel chock is pretty useless and I'll end up replacing it with a drive into type chock. Also to check the hydraulic fluid since it doesn't come full. The thing is, when I lived in Chicago I didn't have a garage and did all my maintenance in the "Alley". Now I have a garage with space for a lift, my 2010 Honda SH150, my 2016 Suzuki Burgman 400 and my 2012 Suzuki VStrom 650. Trying to sell the 650 since I don't drive it much these days.

The 20% coupon usually can't be used w/another discount. Even so at 299 not a bad deal at allMikey wrote:I just received and email from Harbor Freight that their 1000 lb. motorcycle lift is on sale for $299.00. Your right. I didn't realize the 299.99 price is a super coupon. That sucks.

"They" always get you, coming, going or both. Still a good price.
Better get it now.
"Trade Wars" Ser.01 Ep.01. coming soon. Sorry, no Trailer yet but
it's not going to be a comedy. I'm thinking tragedy.

'It' could/should be viewed as neither... rather as merely a just rectification of the grave imbalance in trade created by our 'ex' fellow-travelers via the extremely lopsided NAFTA agreement that our dear, valiant President Mr. Trump, along with his rational supporters, are unwilling to abide with.NADman wrote: it's not going to be a comedy. Once "Fair Trade" and NOT "Free Trade" is re-established and the ridiculousness of open immigration is rectified, our countries will both prosper once the butt-hurt of the 'Merkels' of this world is soothed and properly re-orientated towards legitimate and worthy issues:

Seems that ALL the media, especially the "Fake News" is 'on-the-ropes'; though this infested mouth-piece of the Zio-nazi One World Order will rabidly continue to foster dissension and fragmentation,as it always has, amoungst Mankind... Hopefully, more and more people will awaken from the false paradigm 'they' artfully construed and WE can all invest our Time and Labour in making this World a better place for ALL and not merely the criminal few.............

P.S. NADman, I hope your continuing recovery from your latest prolonged hospital-stay is progressing to your satisfaction and inspiring you with the new-found Hope we wish for you and share ourselves.
