O2 sensor removal

I've been toying with the idea of fitting an aftermarket exhaust system on my SH 150, the Yasani, to be precise, and noticed that it includes the threaded hole for the O2 sensor. I assume that one is meant to utilize the sensor from the existing pipe. That's the problem, there is no way that I can get the sensor to break loose, no matter what I try. A new sensor runs about $100, from what I have gleaned from the web. I'm hoping that someone who has found a way to remove the sensor can give me some advice, or is it just a matter of a long breaker bar and brute strength?

Shortly after posting the above, I remembered my usual first source for problem solving - Google! After a few minutes surfing I discovered that a combination of penetrating oil (PB Blaster) and heat, plus a long breaker bar and a lot of patience, the sensor will eventually submit to one's efforts! I'll wait until I eventually purchase an exhaust system before trying this method out.

When you use heat, try to heat the pipe around the sensor. You want the pipe to expand, not the sensor.
