Rattle once RPM off of idle.

Wow what a difference. Wouldn't think that plastic on plastic would make that much noise....yes the rear fender screw was loose, and the replacement bolt/nut fixed the issue (I also took your advice and put the nut on the outside of the airbox).

OK pulled exhaust and rear wheel off. Checked brakes, tire, bearings, installed new bolt for fender, replaced exhaust gasket and reassembled all. Amazing difference: eliminated rattle and exhaust is quieter.

Good job OldSlow and way to stick with it......Some even forget to use a new exhaust gasket upon re-assembly....Wishing you many trouble-free miles amidst peace-of-mind.
