This is a scooter related topic, sorry, but it seems like it fits best here. Anyone a member of a scooter club? I found a local club through Meetup.com that has a ride coming up next month I plan on attending. I've never ridden in a group, and hanging with some scooter folks should be fun. There's a lot of Vespa clubs out there, didn't find too many Honda scooter rider groups, but this club is open to all scoots. Just wondering if any of you are part of a local group and how often you take part in the club's rides?

We have a scooter club here in Winnipeg composed of mostly Silverwings (about 1 dozen). Our club is limited to scooters 250cc and over. The reason is that once a week we go on long out of town runs. We also have 2 Burgman 650's, a Honda 250 Reflex, a Piaggio 500, and a T-Max. We're regularly joined by a Vulcan 900, a Goldwing, and an HD Electra-Glide, even though they aren't club members.
