WTB--screen for a 150/300

Post by jex » Wed Jun 18, 2014 12:39 am

I am looking for a windscreen for my SH300i. They are non existent here in Oz. Has anyone got one for sale out there in the world ? Importing one from the USA is probably out of the question due to shipping costs.

The original screen (i have it) is very high, you will have to look through the screen, not so nice when driving in rain or dust as it will limit your vision, most people cut about 10 cm of the top off to be able to look over the screen,i just took it of, however it works very well as i am able to smoke a cigarette on the highway doing 100 km/h 8-)
I guess i will also cut it of some day.

I cannot help you directly but you may want to look at the screens made by Puig, it has a dealer in australia:
ONLINE RACING SPARES PTY LTD
56 KEYS ROAD,FACT0RY 5/ UNIT 15B MOORABBIN
3189 VICTORIA - VICTORIA
+61 3 9553 1881

They have a "city touring" screen(but also other models) which ,according to a friend, works well and is not to high so you will be able to look over it instead of looking through it.
It does not have the handguards/screens like the original screen has but these can be bought separately from honda.

They also have the tall version which is supposedly the same size as the original screen:

Failure is not an option, it comes bundled with the package.

Here in Thailand, the dealers are throwing in an Ermax windscreen with every sale. Junk.
They constantly wiggle loose so I always had to carry a wrench.
Finally a mounting bracket cracked so I removed the screen.
Avoid.

Thanks Guys, I will try online racing and see what they have got. The local dealers have no idea and don't seem interested in chasing one up.
