Gloves! What type/brand are you guys wearing?
I've only been riding for a couple of months and already find myself with 3 pairs of gloves. The moto/dirt style Icon's I got at the dealership when I bought my helmet, a pair of Dainese gauntlets, and my latest buy, some DeerTours. I've only ridden with them for a couple of hours but they are already my favorite pair. Soft deerskin palms and elkskin back make for a mighty comfortable glove. I also feel they look the part of a scooter glove more so then my Dainese, which scream street racer. However I feel more protected in those Dainese due to the thickness, padding and knuckle armor they have. The DeerTours have the advantage of less seams in the palm and everywhere else for that matter, and that absence of seams means there are less to fail when you hit pavement. It also make the gloves very comfortable. They also do a fairly good job keeping the wind out, but I haven't ridden them in anything less than 60F. I'm in the market for some winter gloves now, but I'm talking about a So Cal winter glove. Anyone love the glove they ride and want to give a review?

Not wanting to pay much and always spending to many hours researching the forums and reviews, here is what I ended up with.....
Summer: Lots of ventilation. Cut the velcro off. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001URT0IU)
Rain: Thick, warm and dry. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000SSQ5HQ)
Cool weather: Love the feel of these. My favorites. Unbelievable price w/high quality. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BQWJTA)
Winter: Cheap but very well made. Haven't used YET but feel great. (http://www.hayneedle.com/sale/kennedymo ... eglove.cfm)
These would work well in your case inside the "Cool weather" ones above. Also Winter. Another layer with "wicking " properties. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HKPFS0)
I also "gerry-rigged" hand wind-deflectors. Pics at page bottom. (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1503&start=10)

Bike guy, could you post a photo of your bike. I would love to see the turn signals.bikeguy wrote:I've only been riding for a couple of months and already find myself with 3 pairs of gloves. I will post a pic ASAP. The signals don't look as pro as if they were integrated like the Euro signals, but I think they're visually an improvement over OEM. However I got LED and they are not that bright during the day, but the signals are fairly low quality I think. They were cheap at my local gear shop, and really just something to fill the gap until I do the Euro signals eventually.

Howdy,
I'm not exactly proud to admit this, but my Summer gloves are thinly padded cheapos from Wally world.

Winter gloves. You really can't beat the Hein Gericke Pathans.

Not sure if they retail over the other side of the pond, but I'm sure you'll find something similar. They work as the heat from your fingers is shared, not isolated in the case of traditional five finger gloves.
